For the first time since the opening of the season in early March in Qatar, the weekend was not disturbed by changing weather conditions.

Sam Lowes our English driver failed to find the right set-up for his machine in qualifying and so started at the bottom of the grid.
After a quiet start to the race, he began to line up the fast laps going up to 15th place, which was synonymous with his first points in the overall standings.
